Oven Projects presents Evening's Blush, showcasing works by Ko Sin Tung, Kwan Sheung Chi, Kong Chun Hei, Liao Chien-Chung, and Lai Chih-Sheng.

 

The artist's task is to, perhaps, create a different kind of time, first and foremost. To reveal suspicions, to work in and on time in different ways, to make an effort in careless moments, and to try to freely experience the world. Each of the artworks in Evening's Blush contains a special temporality, addressing fragmented, casual, distracted or idle moments: kneading a blu-tack which is a blend of a new and a used rubber; peeling off a screen protector; rolling a blanket into the shape of a sleeping dog; waiting for a yawn, or staring at a swarm of petal-like insects over a lake…These are special gaps, unclear glows in time.
